Nothing in them power/performance wise.

Facelift interior - matter of taste really. Not so hardwearing though.

Running gear, virtually identical, just slightly tweaked on newer one.

With any luck, you'll not notice the difference

Low miles, but base spec, v6 not an easy engine to sell to general public due to fuel prises.  Probably in region of £2k, mostly due to low miles.  Bit more if a trader.

CD spec, not as good as your CDX, but the 'face lift' is different to drive, tighter, bit of a trade-off.

See, I prefer the prefacelift.

We're all individual and different :y

Problem is finding a really good prefacelift now...

I have just done a very similar thing, changed from a 96 CDX to 2003 CDX. I do prefer the character of the 96, and 2003 CDX has a lesser spec than the old one, namely no rear blind and non adjustable intermittant wipers both of which I made full use of in the old one.

I am still not sure I made the right decision buying the newer one.

2.6 will have no sun roof, halogen projectors. 2.5 I think would be old style headlamps and have a sun roof.

Thanks for the replies A little unsure now but I suppose that a car that is 6 or7 years younger will  last me for a few years.
