Does it have a tendancy to stall at lights or roundabouts?

If so try disconnecting MAF semsor - does this make any difference?

Hi

welcome to the forum. What codes did you actually get please?

It might be worth checking the wiring plug on the MAF is firmly engaged and no obvious damage to the wiring loom. The MAF (mass air flow sensor) is located on the left of the engine compartment at the front as you look at the engine from the front. Here is a picture of one on Ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-Air-Flow-Mass-meter-MAF-Sensor-Vauxhall-OMEGA-V6_W0QQitemZ270446874608QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item3ef7e3cff0
