Mot advisory and heated seats
« on: 01 February 2010, 13:04:01 »

Hi all

I got my omega last week and im loving it, it has a few advisories on the new mot but only failed on a bulb.  I made the garage MOT the car as it has high miles they tried to hide the advisory list but thanks to vosa I got the list and it is as follows:

*Rear tyres close to legal limit (now have been changed)
*Oil Leak (breather pipe had split now been replaced)
*all 4 suspension bushed wearing but not causing excessive play
*light dusting of oil on all 4 shock absorbers
*needs new rear number plate
*rear indicators faded

The other issue I have is the heated seats don’t work, is there a cheap way to sort this.  I plan on working though the list myself and getting the car in a1 condition.

Thanks in advance

Heat seat most likely the heated element, diificult to replace.  Fortunately, plenty of breakers with lots of spare seats on this site :)
