fuel leak

fuel was leaking from joint of return fuel pipe near tank at rear,repeired with a piece of hose and two jubile clips one on metal pipe and the other to the tank, should be o.k to leave or should i replace the fitting,not leaking any more,advis please should i replace the fitting or leave as it is :y :y :y :y :y

Is that the pipes attached to the plate on top of the fuel tank?

So long as the "hose" you used is proper fuel line, it shouldn't be any problem at all.
