Timing belt

Whats the recomended interval for replacing the timing belt. Tis a 2.2 petrol :y

4 years or 40k which ever is sooner, replace belt and tensioners.

40k miles or 4 years, any more than that and you're on borrowed time. It's the same for the 2.2, 2.6 and 3.2 petrol engines.
If not known when it was last done, it'd be imperative to get it done asap.

Best to change the water pump while you're at it too IMO :y
