rear blind problem
« on: 05 February 2010, 20:46:53 »

Rear blind goes up ok, but stops after a few inches going down. There's lots of  'clicking' then after about 10secs it stops. Could I adjust something or will it be another motor?

ouch, sounds like the motor, possible there a couple of teeth missing on the main drive cog, not a cheap repair either.... good luck...

one thing to try is with someone else pressing the button  gently push the blind when it stops if it starts again then it is probably the missing teeth, I have had x2 motors now that have done this !!!!

yes that method works to get it down. Sounds like another motor or sticking with the push.....its cheaper.

I had the same on my previous Elite. Mine was the runners sticking in the tracks. One of the pivoting connections had broken and it was causing the sliders to twist enough to jam.
