Car won't start

Hi everyone i have a problem with my car it won't start the car has been on my driveway for about 6mths without being used the reason for not being used is a long story. Anyway i just like to know if anyone on here can solve the problem i've taken the battery out and put it on charge and when its fully charge i put it back in the car and turn the key over and i get the alarm going off and some off the symbols come up on the dashboard but the engine is not turning over i do have petrol in the tank so can anyone on here please advice me what to do thanks.

imobilizer problem?? do you open car with key or fob??

Sounds as if the battery could still be flat if the power sounder goes off when you try to start...

thanks for the advice rustym95 and the boy cos the battery is flat i have to use the key to open the door but normanlly i open the with the fob. I also think the battery is flat too and i'm thinking getting a jump start

Yeh....jump start required without doubt.

The immobiliser on post 96 cars will not stop the engine from being cranked....
