Jacking points.
« on: 13 February 2010, 14:42:52 »

Ok maybe a simple question and a simple answer will be offered but........

Where do all of you jack up the Omega front/rear?

I mean where do you usually place the trolley jack?

I have been lifting the car with trolley jack at just behind the jacking points, or should I go further in?

Just a thought that crossed my mind the other day when changing my wheels over.

Mick ;)

peer in behind the front j point and you'll see a cross member about a foot long, there.

rear again further in but on the centre bolt of the tringular plate for rear subframe.

Both described in manual iirc, or is it in the haynes book of lies?
