It's drive by wire, so it won't be the TPS. Might be worth a try cleaning the throttle but if that fails I'd be looking for an induction air leak, clogged air filter or maybe a faulty MAF.

On a drive by wire engine the ECU is setting the throttle position, because it's moving the throttle, not the driver. For this reason, if there was any doubt on the throttle position (DBW cars have dual redundant sensors on the throttle) it would go into limp home.

What it is seeing is some other characteristics of the engine (e.g. air/fuel volume) which is not consistent with the throttle position and RPM at which the engine is operating. That's why I say look for an induction leak or blockage.

Is it performing how it should? No running issues?

Its gutless.  Theres no stalling, but if I floor the throttle the power isnt there as it should be. The problem seems to occur when theres a 2 to 3 rd gear change at approx 30 mph at 1500rpm

In that case I wonder if it's a faulty MAF.  :-/ It would be useful to see some live data from it.
