Coolant level warning system
« on: 16 February 2010, 19:01:58 »

Hello,

My coolant level warning came on tonight (plenty of coolant so no problem there) and after reading a couple of posts it seems fairly common - the remedy being buy a new expansion tank as the float does not come separately.  However there does not seem to be any connecting wires - so does anyone khow how it works?

There are, they're just underneath it  ;) Quite straight forward when you remove it.  :y

Check that someone hasn't pulled it off and shorted it with a paperclip or something, found that on one of mine.

The paperclip rusts after a while!
