Oil change time.....recommendations ?
« on: 16 February 2010, 19:49:31 »

So time has come to 'clear out the old, and chuck in the new' (technical term !) and I was wondering what the oil of choice is from fellow forum-ites :)

That said, pretty sure I heard that there is some good pricing from VX themselves, with my trusty Trade Club Card......does anyone happen to know TC prices for Oil and Filter (based on usually having to argue with my local stealer about the prices they start off quoting  :D )

TIA !

Yours will take the later paper filters which are about £3 or £4 each

VX tradeclub Buy 3 get 4 on 5 litre bottles of 10W/40 semi synth ...  about £38 IIRC for 20 litres !!!!  Saving over £80 on retail price

Filters you save a bit .. but they are cheap enough anyhow .. :)

20L ? I guess this means 'bulk' to get pricing ?
Not such a bad thing, I guess - need to do my Toledo 20VT as well....that's about 11 across the 2 cars, methinks, and some spare for next time !
