coolant level

started the car as normal and after brake light test
message went out it came up with coolant level
on display.  Checked coolant level was ok - any suggestions?

car is 3.0 v6 estate on w plate (2000)

Could be the sensor in the coolant tank.

Dodgy sensor in expansion tank. You can try giving it a bit of a prod, sometimes works, more often than not though it`s a new tank needed, about £30 from VX

will try to give it a prod first :y and if that does not work
will visit the vx dealer for replacement. :'(
