Code 19
« on: 26 February 2010, 17:59:35 »

I'd used the Omega a couple of times this morning, got back home & then almost immediately went to collect SWMBO from work. Turned the key, span over great, but no hint whatsoever of starting  :-?. Sod it! Went in the Astra. Got back 15 mins later, tried the Omega & it sprang into life!  :y
So we set off with caravan in tow, got 10 miles away & it died, fortunately about 50 yds from the motorway. Paperclip test showed 19 ..... that's the first time I've ever had to do it .... But! Due to the good advise from here, I'd bought a crank sensor for last years holiday in France, and tucked it safely in the boot for such an occasion. I wasn't, however, prepared to lie down in the mud & snow to change it at the side of the road :-?  ;)

Good man Daz for offering to do so though!
So our week end will have to start tomorrow instead  :y  :y
