is there a there a how to change a thermostat guide on here my temp gauge does not seem to move

it moves just off the bottom but it does not shove out anuff hot air even to demist the window i drove the car 20 miles and the heaters were blowing out coolish air

drain rad, little red plug thing passenger side at the bottom, drain clyinder head (bolt in head above the turbo) with it not having aircon no need to take viscous fan off,take hose off thremostat housing,unscrew the three 10mm bolts what keep housing on,replace thomostat plus o ring tighten the three bolts evenly to 8nm,refill header tank with 50/50 mix with antifreeze/water, put heating on full leave the cap off the header tank,start car and press the hoses to get the air out of the system :y :y

it should say take viscous fan off.Its got aircon :y

the thermostat got a nipple on to self bleed,putting the aircon on hi setting with fans at max,while pressing the hoses gets whatever air left in there out ::)

you must bleed the system as soon as youv'e refilled water in header tank
