I only noticed it the other day.

Car is a 99 pre-facelift 2.5 Omega Elite estate.

Thanks.  Just leave it then?

I assume if it had to be connected to something, and wasn't, the car wouldn't run?

Correct. You can remove it if you want to ..... leave it till the weather gets warmer though.  :y
