ok so my car still has a missfire on cyl 1 , 3 , 5 been told it could be a few things like plugs and coil pack ,, changed the plugs and did the coil pack today and its still missfireing

im so pi**ed off with the car now its costing me so much and its still not right ??

can anyone help please ??

Definately sure you've connected the leads up correctly and did you use a new DIS?

did you get a new dis pack? check the plug on the wire make sure that it good and clean. also check the ecu main plug is in tight. and injector relay.

yeh brand new bosh one ,, connecter looked nice and clean to me ,, so lost as what to do as i need the car for work and its just costing me so much to fix but nothing is going rite ,,

would it make any difference if i put the code reader on it and clear the errors becasue when i checked it a while ago it said miss fire etc but never cleared error memory when i fitted new bits ??

out of interest, do you have K&N panel or cone filter fitted?

How about the leads themselves? They may look new but the could be brittle on the inside.

There are no leads on 3.2 or 2.6

ill run the code reader 2mora and let you know all the codes ,, no its running standard air box and the eml is off , never came on just got the missfire

Sorry if I'm asking the obvious, but you don't have any water getting in there from the scuttle?? Took me ages to find it on mine (got there in the end thanks to Tunnie  ) although mine was on the other bank.

where are you getting the missfire info? from the pedal trick? or code reader? exactly what codes are you getting?
 missfire codes start p030* iirc

ill run the code reader 2mora and let you know all the codes ,, no its running standard air box and the eml is off , never came on just got the missfire
