Did you say with LPG? What plugs have you put in? I think the MAF idea may be plausible too. The other thing that is ringing in my mind is whether the timing belt has jumped a tooth. You'd get erratic running but I don't know whether it would register as a misfire.

Also,I wish you'd stop bloody quoting me. I deleted the second post straight after the first as I realised it was a mistake and Tunnie had already flipping quoted me. :D

how would maf fault affect one bank though? and would expect a fuel trim code if so...?

belt issue possible but why would it clear when codes cleared and then play up again after 20miles, or whatever it was?

cat issue would also raise a code imo

should also ask if any other work has been carried out that may have had an effect on the issue?

Just to question what may be obvious..

1,3,5 bank is on the drivers side (right hand drive ;)) - you did change that one didn't you?

Hi,
I have been following this thread with some interest, as this was the first problem I had when I bought my car.

I don't think I can add any thing much to what has already been said.

When I had this problem, my code reader identified which cylinder was miss firing, on examination you could see the cracks and iron laminate swelled on that plug unit.

What puzzles me is your 0300 multi cylinder misfire.

I would be looking for bad earth connections on supply to CPP unit or on the injectors on 1-3-5 bank.

I don't like making guesses, but it does sometimes happen that a new / replacement part is faulty.
