One of my old cars had a very similar fault which was the DIS

oky koky so we all seem to agree that the dis/coil pack is the most likely suspect so as i'm still waiting for my local library to have the maintenance manual in stock can any tell me how to check it, get to it or send me a link

is there a difference between the coil pack and dis pack or are they the same thing
