Airbag light
« on: 07 March 2010, 17:03:37 »

Hi guys ive asked this question before and  Marks DTM Calib offered to use his Tech2 to fix it for me and i sent him a PM but perhaps he didnt recieve it as it was my first one and i probably did somthing wrong. Anyway i am asking if anybody else could fix it use their tech2 to have a look for me as my MOT is due this week, I would of course pay them for this as it is a service after all, I dont mind driving a fair distance to have this fixed so any offers would be greatly appreciated, Thanks to all

I know you want your car to be right, but an air bag light isn't MOTable  :y

When I first took my crappy Astra for its MOT it failed on lots of things, but the airbag light wasn't one of them!  ;)

A 'cheapo TechII' from eBay will cost you around £30 & will reset an airbag light ...... I believe they work (best) with a serial port on a laptop though. You'll have for any future EML that will occur  ::)  :y

Try another PM to Mark, he gets alot of PM's and the system only stores so many, your's may have dropped off the bottom.
