sould temp guage be on 90

hi guys i have a 2.5td just fitted new thermostat. now the guage sits at about 92 - 95 is this ok. cheers kevin

Thats pretty much where my 3.0 V6 sits... if its the middle of the gauge then its correct..

My Facelift TD sits at 85, rarely goes over this at any speed.........maybe when towing though.
Had a new stat fitted last year. Before this it barely moved.

thanks for the link also forgot to put on that the expansion tank does not seem to be pressurising when i take the cap off nothing happens no hissing just plain nothing. is that normal to

Check the link in FAQ for normal running temps, but generally around midpoint

hi mick do you no if your radiator fan is on constantly. mine is iam pretty sure that it should not be on all the time

Which fan, there are 3 on the radiator ;)

i checked the faq but they were for the v6 model just wonted to check if they were the same for 2.5td model

This should be the viscous fan then. I guess idling would be on as you say.
