2.5td performace chip

were can i buy a performance chip for a 2.5td and what price do they retail at. does the car need to be rolling roaded after chip is installed. cheers kevin

Try a PM to TheBoy, and he'll put you in touch with a man.
Costs around 70 quid.

The lump reverts to BMW spec of 143 BHP plus 5%, so around 150 BHP then.
Your choice as to testing etc; personally, I just sat back and enjoyed the much-improved driveability!
If yours is an auto; you'll need to fit an AR35 'box BEFORE chipping it.

thanks i will give theboy a email the car is a manual so ready to go. is it a much of a improvement in the low rpm because mine feels gutless.

They all seem sluggish until around the 1700 rpm mark, whence the turbo starts boosting.
The boost starts at around 1300 rpm once chipped.
