fuel leaking
« on: 12 March 2010, 09:30:12 »

I have a fuel leak from one of the fuel hoses. I has appeared after reconnected them (thermostat replacement). The leak is not at the bolt, but in at the junction with the metal end of the hose. Shoul I constrict the junction with pliers or use a clamp or what?

I would replace the flexible section to be safe. I'm sure someone must have on from a car they've broken and it's not worth taking chances with a fuel line, IMHO.

How does the other end of the flexible part attach to the car? Is it easy to replace?
