Welcome to the forum. :y

You don't say what engine you have (it's a good idea to put this in your profile so it's there for all to see).

If it's a V6 - is it the spring tensioner or just the plastic pulley that has failed? You can remove the pulley just by unscrewing the bolt in the centre (15mm IIRC).

The plastic pulley and bearing are available separately to the whole tensioner and much cheaper.

Use a 15mm spanner on the pulley nut and rotate the whole tensioner unit clockwise to remove the tension in the belt.

If replacing just the pulley you can then undo the pulley nut and simply replace with the new one.  If replacing the whole tensioner pulley there is a bolt top and bottom to remove.  The bottom one is a little awkward to get to (easier from below) but access can be improved by rotating the tensioner and pinning it in its furthest position by inserting a suitable sized rod in the hole just below and to the right of the upper mounting bolt.
