Christmas Quiz, early evening on Christmas Eve
« on: 23 December 2007, 21:58:42 »

Mrs TheBoy is compiling a Christmas quiz for early tomorrow (Christmas Eve) evening, probably between 6 - 7pm ish

Get your teams together now, and get team captains to PM me.

I have not seen the Q's, but she says they are mostly fairly easy questions, and are suitable for all the family. So if the kids are excitable about the big day, get them (and any OOF widows) to join in - this will help pass some time.

Get the family together and form a team!

Or join up with other members to form a team.

If you have never taken part in our quizes, I urge to to take part in this one - this may be the last ever OOF quiz if we can't get many teams taking part :(

Don't worry if you think general knowledge quizzes are too hard - she assures me this one is quite easy, and suitable for all the family.  The theme is 'Christmas'

If I remember rightly, the consensus last time was that the quiz should start at about 9.00 to let those with kids get them off to bed. And, others to get other duties complete and then settle down to the quiz later on.

Just a thought.  :)

Idea of running earlier is to allow kids to join in - the Christmas theme should make it suitable.  Plus your chances of getting most children in bed by 9pm on Christmas Eve.....

Remember, one person from each team needs to send me a PM so I can set the team up on the quiz system :y

Those people who have PM'd me should receive a PM from me before the quiz starts (planned for 6:30) with a username and password to log on to be able to submit answers.

I haven't seen the questions, so hopefully I can join in with this one, but she tells me there are 40 'quick fire' easy-ish questions, and the planned 75s per question 'may be too long'.  Range of questions apparently, so may be useful to have OOF widows and kids helping (that was hre brief - to make it family fun).
