Hardly stopped raining all day :( I need either a garage or waterproof overalls ::)

Clamshell design that came off has a larger volume than the replacement. New one seems near silent compared to the perforated original but I have only driven round the block so far.

Yay! it passed its MOT :y

Just 2 advisories
1. rear number plate deteriorated.
2. inside edges of front tyres worn ::) now I wonder what the cause of that can be...... ;D

Genuine VX exhaust has completely rusted through at the brackets in front of the rear silencer after 2 years and 3 months >:(

Going to try an ETS exhaust this time. I really want clamshell silencers, the ebay shop pictures appear to show cylindrical silencers for the 2.5 offering and clamshell silencers for the 3.0 so I have ordered the 3.0. :y

Ive got ETS system on my 3.2  lovely fit and came with all the hangers and bolts,and a good price £97.00 delivered  :y

Just fitted a stainless one ( from Poland) - replacing a gm one on the MFL, ( st st one was on the FL - but haven't got around to changing the engine on it -so have 'borrowed' st st)
Surprisingly the ss one is noticeably quieter than the old cs GM one - which was only starting to leak a little on the welds on the middle sections.
