Warning light
« on: 20 March 2010, 16:02:55 »

I have an intermitant warning light - car with spanner - what does this mean? I don't have a hand book. Does anyone have a hand book for sale?

Need to get codes read with a decent reader. Put your location etc in your profile, may be someone near to assist

Thanks RobG.  I have added my location to my profile. As I said, I have no hand book so didn't know this was the error code light. Does the light have to be on to read the code? It goes off when I switch off the ignition and sometimes does not come on again for several weeks.

Is it some kind of service reminder?

Just read the codes on this one.

Engine ECU was showing stored code for TPS - P0220 Incorrect signal.

Cleared this code, did not return.

Only other code related to low voltage on Gearbox ECU which was due to a discharged battery earlier in the year.

If the lamp comes back then I will re-read the codes  :y
