Remote Key Fixed
« on: 02 April 2010, 11:29:23 »

Sorry i don't know if this is the right place for this but thought it would be good to point out.

my mate had issues with his key and found this place and i sent one of my remote keys away as both had run out of battery and were very very battered, none of the remote functions working at all and the covers to the buttons worn to blazes.

sent to them first class on wednesday got it back today £30 including return recorded delivery and all is good, just had to re-sych the key (the put it in ignition and press a button one)

very highly recommended ...

Its only about £6 more for brand new one from dealers  :)

Martin Imber will repair keys for a lot less than that  :y

£27 + VAT for new 3 button. But needs programming, which is (according to my favourite, useless, robbing, incompitent dealer in Milton Keynes) 1/2hr, £45+VAT

Split your old key as though you were replacing the fob's batteries, swap the circuit board over to the new fob & that's it.  ;)
