occasional rubbing noise
« on: 12 April 2010, 20:56:27 »

hi i have changed my cambelt on my omega 3.0 auto about 700 miles ago all seemed well until a couple of days ago when i noticed a slight noise its only there on low revs it sounds like something is rubbing on a belt.its not there all the time i found water pump to be a bit noisy so changerd that but noise is still there.  when engine has been sitting for about 10 mins it has a noisy tappet which goes quiet again  could this make a whirry noise on slow revs   or am i missing the point ..   hope someone can help as i am lost now

thanks  rick
