V6 Inlet manifold's..
« on: 13 April 2010, 20:06:01 »

Am I correct in assuming that these are the same for all of the V6's, from the 2.5 upto the 3.2?

Thanks muchly :)

I think the 2.5/2.6 manifolds are the same and the 3.0/3.2 are the same :-/

Poo lol.

Thanks guys! I was hoping they were the same - means that I will have to wait until I get a car before getting the inlet manifold and tapping it!

If you are thinking of LPG conversion .. Kevin Wood was doing a "service" with an inlet manifold that he was drilling and tapping then exchanging for the old one for people doing conversions .. might be worth giving him a PM..... his work looks really, really good ..   :y :y :y

I have a couple of 3.0/3.2 manifolds. No 2.5/2.6 ones, though. I've never had the two side by side to compare them. I'm surprised that the intake divider isn't a different diameter as that's the obvious difference, that the 2.5/2.6 would have a narrower intake tract to keep the gas flowing faster. :-/

Anyway, I can drill and tap a manifold no problem.  :y
