blowing sound

blowing sound coming from car but not from exhaust could it be rubber pipe between sai seloniod and sai pump would this make it sound as if was blowing? does the pump still take air through as i have pulled 50amp fuse and still sounds like a tank.any pics of where and how to get to this to take a look at pipe and pump. :(

If the pipe that runs up from the SAI Pump to the Valve has not been fitted back on or has a hole in it, you will get a blowing exhaust noise under the bonnet until the pump cuts off :y
That pipe is about £10 from Vauxhall :y

even with the pump off its still making a blowing sound ive just had fitted a new exhaust manifold and new back box could this possibly have anything to do with it?

my old miggy the sai rubber pipe split, sounded like a tractor until I replaced the pipe.
