running problems with 2.0litre omega
« on: 22 April 2010, 19:44:55 »

Hi everyone, After renewing the headgasket on my 20xev engine its developed a fault, it ticks over ok and sometimes runs ok, however sometimes it wont accelerate if i push my foot down on the throttle the rev counter goes from tickover to about 2500 rpm then back down and then back up wavering about, if it does this when moving the car starts kangarooing, i have had it checked on the computer and it diagnosed the cam sensor at fault, this was replaced but made no difference computer still says cam sensor fault. any ideas ps i forgot to mention the car is LPG however fault is present whichever fuel mode selected.
