The car was revving up for a while, then missing and backfiring, put on comp and tps faults showed, after a day the car would not start, put the new tb's on and still nothing... getting loads of fuel,no faults shown, done actuator tests on pump and tps,all good... car grinding and firing, keep grinding and it nearly goes... good compression etc, could it be the crank sensor... seen this before with no faults showing and it being that... am going mad here,tb's cost me 333 squid

I think you must see some other codes stored with p0200 and p220..  :-/

anyway, from some old info I know it can be tested with voltmeters.. let me check..

here is some info

and another way to for checking it,

pass some ferrous metal very close crank sensor to it and check the voltage jump..

Just a quick update folks... went to check the cs sensor today and there was 2!! somebody replaced it before and just left the old 1 there, took out and cleaned,no difference, stripped of plenum again and checked everything... all ok... tried towing the car and it nearly started slightly... turned car over and started running but missing badly and backfiring like a wild bore on the job... next thing i disconnected something and the car run 100% and is going better now than ever before...
3 guesses to what it was...
