hello there a light has come on the dash ive had a diagnostics test done and have a missfire on cylinder 2 i posted this a couple of weeks ago and was told its most probably the coil pack ive now bought a bosch item what i want to know is once fitted will the dash light automaticly go out or has something got to be reset if so how my car is a 2001 mv6 estate thanks for any help.

assuming its a 2.6 or 3.2 so coil per plug, its worth checking all the spark plug wells for any oil / water first before you go changing parts.

Also how old and what miles have the plugs done?

hi my engine is a 2.6 i dont know how old anything is as i only had the car a week before all this happened thanks.
