My mobile phone stopped working this afternoon......wouldnt make any calls or receive any!  

I did wonder if I'd paid the last bill and if not, the SP had turned it off.....couldnt remember  

So just phoned em up.......from landline......and asked why my phone had stopped working.....was it a payment problem?

After answering security questions.......the blokey checked.....No Sir....your bill has always been payed on time every month......your a model customer  

He also said he couldnt see any reason why from his computer screen why it wasnt working.....so he suggested have you got signal?.....yes i replied

Have you tried turning it off and on again? Erm no I replied....I havent turned it off since ive had it......thats over 12 months ago now  

So i did as suggested.........and guess....its blooming works again now  

Tis funny I guess........you get pc probs and one of the things you try to resolve is a reboot........my mobile runs windows mobile and I never thought to try giving a reboot

Contract is up in March.........then im going back to a 'normal' phone   Nokia I think.......I like Nokia phones

I sent a text yesterday and it never arrived.  Mrs C told me to check my in/out box as hers is full at 15 - I had nearly 500!

Apparantly you are advised to off/on every now and again to prevent probs - so I did and all is well again now.

Had the same with my ISP... rang them up the other day, no Internet... 'have you rebooted the router?' they say... I am in IT, don't you 'have you rebooted the router' me.... but I rebooted it anyway, just to please them... and it worked....
