Automatic locking not working
« on: 08 May 2010, 09:10:35 »

Hi all

A problem with my automatic locking which stopped working all of a sudden. I have changed the battery in the transponder and it flashes when operated. There is also a light on the dash of the car which lights up when I operate the transponder but the car neither locks or opens. I am having to use the key in the old fashioned way which operates the central locking okay. So not the end of the world, but it would nice to be able to open the car from a distance again. Any advice appreciated.

Get in the car and shut the door, turn the ignition on and press the lock and unlock buttons on the key that should sort it ;)

Sorted! Thank you very much. Didn't realise that I needed to operate the key when it was still in the ignition.
