my ashtray wont open any 1 got any ideas on how to get it open thanks

Front ashtray and I think it's facelift 2000 on a w reg

Hmmm, they are *VERY* prone to failure.  Can you feel the latch kicking in when you press it?

No it just seems to be stuck in it doesn't move at all when you push it

Put something thin between the ashtray and upper part of instrument pannel and try to move it through that small line gap.
It could be that the ashtray poped up while closed and is now blocked.

Either that or learn to give up smoking and/or stop plonking bits of rubbish in to it...thereafter, its not needed in any event.

PS.  One on my rear is stuck solid also ?????????? :o :o :o :o :o

The chances are you will break it getting it open, good job there are plenty of breakers on here. Let us know your location, there could be someone round the corner who can help.  ::)
