New year resolutions. Daft I know, but I really must have a SERIOUS attempt at kicking the fags this year. I'm not getting any younger and they will get me sooner or later.

Done patches, gum, zyban and, the latest, champix.

Guess it's down to good old willpower.

2) Get a new job and a better salary
3) Have at least 4 damn good holidays with Maria this year

My one and only resolution this year is to lose some weight and to tone up.I have booked a cruise for the end of July 2008 around the Med.This only leaves me 7 months to get myself into shape

Quitting the fags is a tough challenge and you REALLY have to want to stop.
All the patches, gum etc are useless unless you are absolutely focussed.
I gave up 7 years ago and did it using just determination.

It is, without question, a life changing action and the very best thing you can do.
It can be tough, but if you are determined you will succeed.
