3.0 Saloon Back box recomdations.
« on: 26 May 2010, 11:11:54 »

Just starting to look round in case I need one.

This seems to be the only one I can find that is suitable on the bay

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Exhaust-silencer-OMEGA-B-3-0-3-2-V6-MV6-24V-SALOON-AOP-/350350736963?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item519287fe43

Then there's the rest. :-/

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VAUXHALL-TIGRA-OMEGA-UNIVERSAL-BACK-BOX-EXHAUST-/260604741813?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3cad40c8b5

HERE WE HAVE A UNIVERSAL STAINLESS STEEL BACK BOX EXHAUST
THIS ITEM IS BRAND NEW BOXED

FOR ALL VAUXHALL
So a tigra and Omega are the same are they....are they??

http://shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?_nkw=omega+3.0+back+box&_sacat=0&_sop=15&_dmpt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&_odkw=omega+back+box&_osacat=0&bkBtn=&_trksid=p3286.m270.l1313

Not a single one of these looks suitable as the 3.0 I believe is 2 pipes in and 2 pipes out. :-/

ESTATE Model

Just found this , dunno if it is a bargain for anyone.

Cheers Kevin

Both specs say the same but the mounts for the rubbers are different.

Mines a 1999 (T) 3.0 Elite.  So am assuming MV6 to be the same, just conused as to which mount is required, short/bent, or long/straight.

Top one is for a saloon, bottom one is for an estate. :y
