Help - MainRadiator cooling fan and shroud
« on: 31 May 2010, 16:24:53 »

Hi,
I need to replace the main Radiator cooling fan which is held in the shroud assembly.
Can the fan and motor unit be replaced in situ without removing the whole Radiator and shroud assembly?

Also how many screws hold the Radiator Fan shroud unit in place? Engine is 2.5 petrol auto with Air Con fitted.
I can only see 2 (middle left and top right as you view from front of engine bay). Is there a 3rd one, if so where is it located? Many thanks in advance as I am trying to get Omega back on road again tomorrow.

Probably best to bite the bullet and pull the rad out, as the fan and cowling are attached to the rad.

3 in triangle shape, bugger to get to when still in engine bay.
