Steering Idler symptoms
« on: 01 June 2010, 22:47:16 »

Just did a couple of 160 mile trips on Saturday and today and noticed a fast dull light knock from the fron t suspension as I got home. Will examine it tomorrow evening but wondered what the symptoms of idler failure are .
This is a steady light knock which doesn't clunk when I drive over or into a more severe dip or mound .
Cheers

Mmm, sounds more like a drop link on its way out, mate. about £15 a pair, and easy to do (about an hour).
