Will try and get you up to date with out taken all day about it mate. ;D
At christmas with all the bad weather i was getting ice on the inside of the windows front and back and the sunroof....Check'ed the drain under the wipers and all o.k check'ed the back passenger foot well and i had ice on the carpet...took rear carpet out and found front padding was soaked so had to cut it to get it out as its in one part with the other side....Dryed it all out and i then find that my heater is not getting hot so this is why i was not  able to shift the ice from the windows in the morning to get home from work and the car was not drying out....So changed the stat and the temp sensor that sits at the back of the engine between the heads so to speak. flushed the matrix out and the whole system and refilled with just water...Still not getting hot so thinking air lock bleed it all and re-did it all and still no go i then checked the temp and found the fans were kicking in at 92..5 so posted up on here about the temp etc and i think tunnie said that they should kick in at around 95 -96 so back to....Dropped the water again and agian and at one point got it spot on the heaters were nice and hot the fans kicked in at 95-96 and all was good went for a run and then let it cool down and then dropped some of the water and refilled with coolant....Back to square one heaters only getting warm and and then going cold again and the fans kicking in at 92.5...so dropped the coolant out and flushed the matrix again and manually filled it and still no go now this has been done a few times and no joy....Took it to a trusred garage and then checked it and said that there is no air locks in the system and that the small motor on the back of the rad was not working so i got another which i checked and fitted it and still no joy but then andy b on here said that it does not come on all the time and that its (think i can get this right) only to come on when realy hot to keep the water flowing and not sure if its when its switched off mite have that wrong....So now i bet you wished you never asked ;D ;D ;D ;D...Oh and it seems like its got more power on the drivers side then the passenger. Plus i still don't know how water was / is still getting in or if that was just from before when the drain mite have been full of water and it had got in ????? Or if its the matrix.

My sympathies. I just live with my small water loss now. There ought to be a club for those of us that have had the same Omega for 10 or more years.

What about KSeal ??

My opinion, based on my own experience is, do not use K-Seal or any other type of leak seal! I went down this route when my 2.2 started to lose water, no heating etc. & after an initial 'cure' which lasted a week!, my head gasket went big time!!! On stripping the head I found the water channels ranged from partly to almost totally blocked with a hard skin of copper from the K-Seal. I have flushed the system totally several times since the rebuild & am still finding copper particles circulating through the expansion bottle! ::)

right so you have done the lot that i did and not found it, but one, if you take ot the heater controls in dash, and get to the flaps cold to hot and see if they are in right or warped, that is were found my fault the seals had gone and plastic had bent so when stud still heated well, but when on move the air coming into the unit from out side was getting and cutting it out so was just warm, stop at trafic light got warm again., will need to wipe clean them and get the vac in as little bits of ruber all over then put back together again, dont leave any bits in there as can block it off and go same way again. hope this help mate.
