starting problems

hi guys i have just bought a omega cd v6 everything is good apart from one thing every now and then after i have been out in it for a run i go back to it and it wont start as though its not firing it will go in the end after roughly half an hour also how do i check to see if the cam belt needs changing i believe these have got 2 belts do i need to change them both thanks guys for any advice you can give me cheers steve

Paperclip it for codes, probably get a 19, crank sensor if you`re having difficulty starting from hot/warm. As for belts, one auxiliary belt, one cambelt. Visual check may give you an indication on condition but without proof/documentation of cambelt AND tensioner change I`d advise to get them replaced. :y

I would suspect crankshaft sensor re starting issue. Check codes if possible to confirm. Timing belt and aux belt are the ones to change you remove aux belt to get to timing belt covers. Hope this helps.
