The one extra missing from my Elite.............

.............is the intermittent window wiper adjuster!!!

Why oh why was this not included on the Elite stalks?  Even my 99 GLS spec omega had an adjustable timer for the intermittent wiper.  In this miserable weather over here I miss it a lot.

Is it possible that mine is the only one without out it because maybe the car had a stalk transplant at some stage in it's history?

I guess its because you have rain sensitive wipers, rather than an intermittent setting

Mine has an intermittent setting but no adjuster (MV6). I wonder if it's just a stalk change? Just looked at the wiring diagram for the wiper switch and it's giving me a headache! Bear with me...

It is just a stalk change adn possibly a relay to....the adjuster simply varies a resistance in series with the intermittent wiper demand.

You guys are freaking me out i've been thinking about this and then boom you guys are on it please tell me what i need for this mine is a 95 plate elite and just got the standard stalk TELL ME EVERTHING   :) :)

I was just curious as to why this feature was not included as standard on the Elites.  

Every time I show off to my girlfriend by telling her all the extras I have she shuts me up by saying " Ah but you dont have an adjustable intermittent wiper switch now do you....!" cos she has one on her car.. :-)

My car still wins on points though. ;D

Do you have a rain sensor (behind rear view mirror)? Later Elites have rain detetcting wipers rather than adjustable intermittent.

I bet hers doesn't have mirrors that adjust when you electronically move the seat and a rear veiw mirror that dims automatically ;D :y

Indeed... it seems that this feature has been removed when the rain sensor was introduced in 01/02.
