Cheers Chris, It would really be good if i could get one from a breakers as you suggest, although i'm really not sure if i would be able to fit it! thanks again

Easy job IMO, two large jubilee clips and an electrical plug.

Look at engine bay, nearest to you on left side is a black thing about 10 inches square with a big pipe coming out the side in behind the radiator, on the pipe is the maf, signified by the electrical plug attached, unplug it, undo the large jubilee clips and swap the part, simples.

You.ll need a flat blade screw driver or an 8 mill ratchet for the jubilees.
