power steering (again)
« on: 03 July 2010, 22:29:30 »

ok I had just decided (thanks to all you lovely people on here)my lack of power steering was due to a broken pump, I have just gotten in my car to check nothing else is out of the ordinary. It is an automatic and when i change from park to drive or drive to reverse it feels like the car is bumping or dropping or something?

If the steering wheel is "bumping" / juddering as you turn it sounds like the drive belt might be slipping, or low on fluid.
