found why engine is pinking and lakes power
« on: 05 July 2010, 18:26:56 »

was looking under the car and looked fine but the exhaust rubbers looked a bit strecked, so pushed exhaust up and it moved easy, but could see it move at the flex pipe, so had a look ( snaped)  the wire is the only thing holding it together. so need to get a new one... only been this way a few days idle has been off a bit going up and down just heard ticking sound.. :( :( found new flex £18 so will have to get it a weld it on.

samesame, i'm really sorry you feel the need to leave the OOF, especially as you appear to have no idea why the other members were being juvenile! There was a member here not so long back with the username Rusty97 (iirc?) and he like your good self, was not too hot on 'hitting the right keys' shall we say? and not getting his message across too clearly at times :-/. Anyway, the guys answering your post believe you are really Rusty97 using another username to disguise your 'real' identity?
Whatever the truth of the matter, I personally feel they have gone OTT and ended up being unintentionally rude?. IMHO, mate, you should 'turn the other cheek' & laugh it off! ;) because life's too short at the end of the day, and besides; vxnet sucks compared to the OOF ;D :y
