Phone radio

I have the phillips 700 radio with phone the  car is 99  will this be old analouge can it still work if i  pick a sim card as yesterday i had someone ringing me strange :-/

Yes it will work but only operators on 900MHz so o2 or Vodafone, and any MVNO based on their network

Thanks Tunnie but what is that in laymans can i go to vodafone shop for a sim card or my vaux dealers? :y

you need the old school full size sim cards, go to either Voda or o2 and ask for a PAYG sim, but don't pop it out of the credit card sized holder

Yes, I never thought I would use mine, but find it very useful, with the wheel controls. Also, I find that in poor signal areas it will still work when a handheld won't :y

I use mine with a Tesco sim. 49p for the sim and triple credit when you top up.

So Tesco must be Vodafone or O2?

I think they use the O2 network yes.
