Steering box

Can someone tell me how to tighten the steering box on my mig?there is some play in the steering and all joints etc are all fine.thanks guys :y

This was covered a week or two ago,turn the screw on the top by 1/8 of a turn,but dont do this until someone confirms :y :y

Ensure you check for play with the steering in the dead ahead position. Mine feels awful in the position I normally park it in, as I sweep into the driveway and park with some lock on. Turn the steering dead ahead and it's perfectly tight.

Eliminate all other sources of play first (wishbone bushes, track rod ends, idler, etc).

Then follow the aforementioned thread.

I think we should turn it into a maintenance guide, perhaps?
