Quick question on driving
« on: 15 July 2010, 18:07:37 »

My Omega seems all over the place when driving, feels like it wonders about and when u hit an uneven surface it pulls the car all over the place. Does anyone else get this from theres?

I cant decide if its just road surface or my car, sometimes on motorway driving i scare myself even doing 60ish where it suddenly feels like the car isnt attached to the wheels. It feels very light!

Any ideas at all? tyre pressures are always checked by the way, although the tyres are fairly near the limit on the front.

Thanks

check the t/rods and idler for play and wishbones for excess play.
Mind on lane one of the m-way trucks spend most of there time there and you get ruts forming :y

right, what tyres do you have on at there at the moment? Any suspension work been done?

Steering idler should have not much movement on it by hand
