MV6 Seats
« on: 22 July 2010, 14:49:46 »

Just to check if pre facelift seats from an MV6 would fit in a facelift, and if  the back seats have the plug to conect to the rear seat heating on the Elite.

Thanks
Steve.

As far as I know MV6 leather rear seats are not heated, all the seats should fit OK but you will lose the electric memory etc etc.  I have the same idea and also have a full MV6 black leather interior (which will be for sale) but can't bring myself to lose the electrics - have decided to fit facelift elite leather (mines a mini facelift) as a compromise.

They will fit but if there very early seats ie, pre miniface, they did not have side air bags so possible insurance issues there.

No rear heater on MV6 seats only fronts and you would lose the memory function if there going in to an Elite.

Hope that helps, Chris.

I think the prefacelift are a darker colour as well...

more black than grey  :-/

iirc, no MV6 existed prior to mini facelift, so airbags shouldnt be an issue.
headrestraints did go 'active' at facelift though, whatever that means  ;D

They were blacker and a nicer material as well more of a velvet touch to them.

There were some sport seats pre miniface, them ones that had Recaro stitched on the back but no leg extensions.
